The MTV Movie Awards gave Best Hero to Christian Bale for his portrayal of the caped crusader in Batman Begins. Christian almost didn't take the part for fear that the bat suit would be too revealing. In his acceptance speech he gave credit to director Christopher Nolan for taking care of the wardrobe.
